On Saturday Evening we hosted our end of year Masquerade Function, where our Centers and teachers were invited to celebrate a wonderful year with us. The event was held at the beautiful St Matthews-in-the-City Church, a majestic neo-Gothic cathedral known for its chandeliers, high architectural ceilings and intricate stained glass windows. We felt very lucky to be able to celebrate again as an ECE community after so much time spent in lockdown since we launched in 2021. The support our teachers showed our Centers during the pandemic was extremely admirable.
Utopia Education originally began as an off line service prior to our Mobile App launch in July of 2022. Since then we have explored new ways to iterate and improve this App, with seven major iterations to date. The feedback we have received from our Centres and Teachers has been invaluable in optimizing the user experience, meeting your needs and efficiently removing any stress factors. Our Function provided a great opportunity to share with everyone some of these more recent features and how they can be best utilized in everyday practice. Our most recent being the Live Chat Feature, which allows Centers to chat directly with their favorite teachers. This can be used to help a Centre confirm the availability of their favorite teacher, or even directly ask a teacher if they are willing to accept a full time job.
We also asked our guests to consider whether we should add an ‘offer a job’ button to our App, this would enable Centres to directly offer teachers permanent jobs. It is important to us that the features we introduce are useful to our guests and we loved hearing everyone's opinions and feedback on this. We are so grateful to all who have supported us since our launch and want to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended our function on Saturday, it was an incredible evening.
